Narrat!ve – Sah!l

The city is quiet, everyone has disappeared and the only sound is the whistling wind and the cawing of the crows. Suddenly, I hear the sound of metal rattling; I rapidly turn around to face the direction the noise came from and reveal my dagger. Although it’s only a crow on a shopping trolley, the bird has got a perfectly rolled piece of paper in its mouth. Sneakily, I tip toe behind the crow, grab it by its tail and slit the animal’s throat so that I can extract the piece of paper from its mouth without it escaping. Carefully, trying not to rip it, I unroll the paper only to find out it’s a plot to blow up the Eiffel tower. Before I could think about what I had just seen, I heard that voice again: the one of the guy had been in all my nightmares. My heart began racing as I kept rotating my head waiting for a tall man in a black leather long coat and pitch black hair that contrasted completely with his pale white skin to suddenly appear through the blinding fog. All the veins in my body froze when a bony hand grabbed my right shoulder. I didn’t dare to move a single muscle. The man brought his other hand over my left shoulder, but he didn’t say anything, all he did was direct my thumb to a switch he was holding and press it down on a red button. At first, I was confused but a second later when I began to think about what had just happened, I knew exactly what he had just made me do…

Sofia narrative

My eyes slowly opened. I struggled to get to my feet, I looked around, clueless, not knowing where I am. I was now surrounded by mist, but in the distance I could see what looked like the Eiffel Tower. How did I even get here? I took a step forward as my legs trembled and my hands shook. I heard footsteps behind me, but I was too frightened to look over my shoulder to see what or who it was, so I carried on walking. There it was again, the same footsteps, I gulped. I closed my eyes for a moment and tried to calm myself down, my eyes opened and with a big breath I turned around…no one was there. I stopped for a moment confused, what is happening?

I carried on walking, but this time faster. I quickly stopped… I started to get annoyed now. Who was following me?! I looked around to see a black outline of a tall, dark figure, my heart was now beating right out of my chest. I walked backwards slowly, then gradually my pace became quicker and quicker until I turned around and ran, ran as fast as I could. I ran into a corner, panting I was out of breath. It looked like I was safe, I thought. I heard the same old footsteps and that black figure appeared right in front of me and…and …”AHHHHH!”

I woke up, breathless. I looked around, there was no Eiffel Tower, it wasn’t misty and there was no black, spooky figure anywhere. I realised I was in the comfort of my own room…it was all a dream.

Isha’s Narrative Story

I opened my eyes, my head pounding as I slowly stood up. I remembered someone hitting me on my head and then I don’t know but I ended up here. The mist covered the whole place, all I could see was the Eiffel tower, as I took a step forward I saw  someone. I tried to work out who it was but suddenly, the black figure flew up with it’s still on me until it disappeared up in the mist. I took deep breath telling myself it was okay, I searched around if there was anything in here but the only thing there was an abandoned trolley. One drop of water dropped on my shoulder, then another one it started raining I looked around trying to find a shelter, but there was nothing there at all. I stood still listening to the rain and then out of nowhere I heard footsteps coming closer to me. I started walking even though I knew there was no where to go but still something was telling me whoever who was following me was NOT for a good reason. I stopped because if I did then I would have drowned in the deep sea, I felt a hand on my shoulder as I turned around. I couldn’t see the person’s face because of his or her’s mask but then he or she slowly took out something, something I knew was for me to be killed with. It was a knife, pointing right at me he or she came closer to me now pointing at my neck. My sweat dripped down, making me shiver  he or she lifted the knife up then slowly up to me, to kill me. This was it, I was going to die I closed my eyes with fear 1,2 and 3……..

Huzayl’s narrative

Huzayl’s narrative

I stood there. Staring at the fog with horror. I could feel the sharp cold air hitting my face as if it would damage my freezing face. It almost looked like the crispy old grass was staring at me and saying not to move a step forward or my life would become in danger. I could see the grey misty fog gradually taking over the sky. I could see the  blood curdling black bird suspiciously staring right into my eyes. I could tell it wanted answers from me. The sky hadn’t changed at all it was still uninviting. I could see the corroded  basket was crying hopelessly for help. My eyes caught the Eiffel tower secretly popping out of the misty grey fog.

Nikeesha Judge: Narrative

I ran out into the open. The ground was absolutely dry, like it hasn’t rained for years.   A cool breeze brushed against my face, as the hairs on my neck stood up. In the distance was a small figure standing on something, I crept forward slowly ;trying to make no sound.Suddenly,  the black figure flew up into the sky, and made me jump. I carried on walking, trembling with fear,as I knew I was being followed.

I looked behind wondering if the monster was still following me.Thankfully, it wasn’t. I came to a halt, there was a abandoned tower right in front of me. I quickly climb up as fast as I could. Suddenly, a hairy hand dug it’s claws into my ankle.I peered down… it was the monster clinging on.It showed its sharp teeth that glistened in the moonlight. I wiggled my foot vigorously, wanting it to get of. My jeans began to rip and the monster started to lose its grip. The beast ripped a bit of my skin of and went tumbling down.

I climbed to the very top and breathed a sigh of relief…

Divyaa’s Scary story

As I took my first step to doom – my conscious exhorted me to go back. I had entered a whole new world; there was no going back. I had to do this just for my brother as I recalled the lovely childhood memories. The tall Eiffel Tower stood in front of me, leering over as the white ribbon of mist twirled around. Edging closer made me feel even more frightened ;it felt as if a block of ice had replaced my spine. The wind howled like hungry wolves in search of their prey, as it reverberated around me.

The black bird was perched silently on the trolley, watching me with its beady eyes. My hands trembled, my legs were in agony, my fingers grew numb as I rummaged for food. I grew closer and closer and then I realized what mum had been talking about all this time. The castle! The dilapidated one, the walls that were half crumbled. Up right at the top was the creased red flag as it was crooked.

I hurriedly unlatched the big patterned gateway as the withered flowers were dotted around the uninhabited place. The ground shook vigorously. WHAT!!!!!! Was this an earthquake!! My eyes glistened in amazement!!!!!

Samiha Narrative

It was time for me to pay the taxi driver after travelling 80 miles but I didn’t have a single coin, as a thief had stolen it from the airport . The driver pushed me out of the taxi and I ended up on the wet rocky ground with my brown leather suitcase and my Dior handbag as I noticed my designer heels I brought from Italy had been ruined with the filthy mud.

I stood up while I was scrubbing the rotten mud off my shirt and I was trembling. I wondered where did the driver leave me? The hairs on my neck stood up. It was murky and all I could hear were crows cawing and the wind shouting at me. My heart was beating fast. While fog was heading my way, all I could see was a tall building- The Eiffel Tower. My hands were turning numb and I was feeling more afraid.  I could smell the dampness of the tall willow trees and the sweet fragrance of hisbicus.

Suddenly, I could hear loud frightening footsteps but as soon as I turned nothing was there. As I was standing in horror all of my receipts in my handbags were flying towards the twirling storm. It was freezing cold and all I could see were little puddles and a tall figure near a big cottage. I didn’t know what to do. The sky got darker and my distance got longer, I wanted to give up. I stood there for a few seconds and walked back to the start and tried to figure my way out but nothing worked. Nothing.

Pramita-The otherside

The Other side

I could hear the Kaing of the evil, black crow. I ignored it at first-just another black crow- but it was not an ordinary crow. It was the crow send from the Skies. It became louder and louder closer and closer. I did not know what to do at first. The Crow was chasing me faster and faster… this had to mean something.
The world around me started to spin. I held my eyes closed-tight-tighter than I would have done for anything else.
It all stopped and suddenly there was a deafening silence. I moved forward it was the exact same place as I had been before?
               How did I get here?
Why did the world spin around?
How did I get here or was I in the Exact same place as before?
Was this all my imagination and it was the effect of last night’s Horror movies?
I did not know any thing about me and where I was. I was so confused that I felt very dizzy. I was just going to fall when out of nowhere I was there on top of a toppled trolley. there was a thick layer of mist around me. the wind speed was slow and the was cold as I felt it piercing into me but I did not
