Nikeesha Judge: Narrative

I ran out into the open. The ground was absolutely dry, like it hasn’t rained for years.   A cool breeze brushed against my face, as the hairs on my neck stood up. In the distance was a small figure standing on something, I crept forward slowly ;trying to make no sound.Suddenly,  the black figure flew up into the sky, and made me jump. I carried on walking, trembling with fear,as I knew I was being followed.

I looked behind wondering if the monster was still following me.Thankfully, it wasn’t. I came to a halt, there was a abandoned tower right in front of me. I quickly climb up as fast as I could. Suddenly, a hairy hand dug it’s claws into my ankle.I peered down… it was the monster clinging on.It showed its sharp teeth that glistened in the moonlight. I wiggled my foot vigorously, wanting it to get of. My jeans began to rip and the monster started to lose its grip. The beast ripped a bit of my skin of and went tumbling down.

I climbed to the very top and breathed a sigh of relief…
